UI/UX? Are They Similar?

In the past decade, UI/UX has been the two terms that have been used often so much in all the technological and digital backgrounds. One of the common questions that will arise, what is this UI/UX design? How is it so much important in today’s competitive world?

UX stands for user experience and UI stands for User Integration or Interface, these two words are used interchangeably most of the times but they are quite different from each other.

UX or user experience is the basic thinking of the product as a plan and how it would come up in when the product is ready. It is referred as a basic approach to product design by random human thinking.UX holds good for both physical and digital products.

UX includes the complete experience of using the product from the very beginning to the last stage of product usage. It deals with the highlighting of the pain points, looking for optimal methods to make a particular product easy to navigate and to provide a joyous experience to all its users.

UI is a bit different, as it deals with the overall aesthetic experience of the product. The term UI is commonly used for digital products only. It also includes the visual touchpoints, the different colour pallets, overall design and background graphical effects. The main need for the user interface is to make sure that a product looks aesthetic so more and more users will want to use that particular product.

Now that you know the basics here let us understand User experience a bit more briefly-

User experience as the name suggests deals with the overall feel of any of the product and the services. It is a relationship that is being shared between the user and the product. The general outcome is that if the user experience is good then more customers will come to buy your product and hence you will be able to reach all the goal of your business and also generate quality leads for it.

On a whole user experience is used at MNC to improve the overall experience of a product to attract a lot of customers and to produce more leads and improvement of the sales funnel

Coming to the user interface of the product it mainly deals with the interactivity of the product. If you are using a coffee vendor machine how you want the coffee Is the user interface. How the working of the machine deals with the user experience of the product. With relation to the digital websites, it refers to the interactivity of the apps, touchpad and how it is interacting with the user is all about the user interface.

Also, the user interface is the interactivity between the user and the product. It deals with making a more interactive platform which will be easier to navigate for them and also so that the businesses can take in the basic information about the user and can be able to easily link and contact them as a lead.

After this, he will begin the step by step process of the work a thereby solve if any of issues arise with the feel and working of the product.

The other questions that arise are how do they work together

let us answer this with the help of certain examples if the usage of a product Is very good but looks terrible then it is an example of excellent UX and bad UI, on the other hand, if the look of a product is very good but the usage of the product is very bad then it an example of Excellent UI and a bad UX.

But if a particular product has to be very good and need to come to the market then both the look and the feel of the product must be better. Thinking from the perspective of the buyers we must always think in a way to design a product which the consumers will come forward to buy a certain product.
